Sports Hostel Development

The project consists of providing housing in multi-storeyed blocks for sportspersons who come to Porbandar city to participate or train for a specific sport. The idea of sports hostel is part of the larger of idea of promoting sports infrastructure in the state of Gujarat, to encourage more children from the across the state to play and participate in various sports. The sports hostel is proposed in an existing sports complex campus in the city of Porbandar to provide accommodation to the out-of-town sportspersons. In addition to hostel rooms, common spaces like a canteen, kitchen, multi-purpose space, gymnasium, landscaped open spaces are to be provided on the campus. The design was created keeping in mind factors like the efficiency of space usage, natural light, cross-ventilation, the economy of materials, etc. The design language was intended to create elegant hostel blocks with a simple design language and popular color scheme. Building typology is Residential. Services offered in this project is Master planning, Architecture design and Interior design. The Status of the project is Ongoing.
